I'm kind of popular at my school but it seems as though i just get "bad influence" as friends.?

Just to give you an example on is 2 years older, smoke weed, lost his virginity at 11, and is only in the 8th grade. This guy doesn't force me to da things and im not tempted but the school consular thinks he is "trouble". why is it that I attract these types of people.
