2008 saturn outlook leaking?

I have a 2008 Saturn Outlook WITHOUT a sun roof. About a week ago i noticed the floor was a little wet, not paying much attention becasue it has been raining in Ca for a while, so i carried on with Christmas shopping etc... Now today my car smells horrible and while trying to find the culprit of the smell i found that the whole floorboard is soaking wet. From the front of the car to the back and starting to mold under 2 sets of floor mats. ( i have floor mats over top of the factory ones). if i put my hand on the floor my hand comes up soaking wet. i know this is not from the occasional wet feet getting in the car. i have read online that the outlook with the sunroof has lots of trouble with leaks but mine does not have a sunroof. has anyone else had this problem? How do i fix this.
