Are you impressed with politicians New Deal plan for 2009?

Will CCC camps and bread lines come next? More important, does anybody know how much money CCC workers received? My father was in the CCC until WW2 erupted and he was drafted into the Navy. I hear it was pretty hard and served to keep many jobless young men off the streets. Why do you think New Deal under Obama will be better?
