Taking a "break" in a relationship?

Please, don't take a break from him. I'm sorry to say but your dad is in the wrong here. If he truly believed in God and real Christian values he would not be acting this way. Trust me, if your boyfriend is the man you say he is, your dad with have no choice but to eventually be happy for the both of you and accept him. And you will have that good relationship with your dad. It might get a little worse before it gets better but it will be worth it.
