Does this mean I'm the only candidate and Will it increase my chance?

I had a phone interview that was nothing like what I had before The recrutier just basically told me information about their company and the position. She then told me she want to be straight forward about the salary and told me what it was. I hesitated and she notice it (i was expecting more due to the nature of the position) and ask me why. I simply told her that due to my experience and the nature of the position I was expecting more, but the salary is still negotiable depending on the benefit package. She then told me that she'll send me the company's benefits information (such as employee contribution, coverage, etc.) and let me think it over for the weekend (it was a friday) and call her back Monday. After asking her a few questions, thinking my chances are lost now, I told her I want to go forward with the position. She then said she'll talk to the VP of sales about his schedule and she'll email me the date and time for the in-person interview along with the benefits infos.
